Meet  the Team

Linen & Lace was created in 2013, originally by myself Sam and my best friend Sarah, after organising our own weddings which were 18 months apart, we struggled to find suppliers that stood out and offered the kind of service we were looking for. So we organised and styled our own weddings and from there it all began.

Linen & Lace has been running for nearly a decade and a half, and I just love how the business has grown. It has been run solo by myself since the beginning of 2019, but Sarah has still been a regular face at many events. The Linen & Lace studio is based in Ringwood and we have been lucky enough to work with many wonderful couples over the years and amazing suppliers that are now very good friends.

The thing that makes Linen & Lace unlike anywhere else is our products and attention to detail. Numerous items are hand made to ensure we have pieces that are one of a kind. Scouring antique fayre’s to build collections of gorgeous products. Hours are devoted to restoring pieces to their former glory or putting a twist on their original form. Every decision made with regards to the items stocked is a carefully considered one. Being able to offer our clients the ability to choose something unique is hugely important to us.

 

I consider myself extremely lucky to work in an industry that I love, being able to flex my creativity in ways I was never able to in my previous career. Over the years I have visited some unbelievable venues and been surrounded by incredibly talented individuals, making me feel honoured to do a job I love.

As a good business should always evolve with changing times, I have decided to take Linen & Lace in the direction of being the go to place for couples looking to style their own wedding, offering support with consultations and workshops, and of course incredible items for hire. We have some really exciting new ranges that will assist couples in creating their dream wedding, without it ever looking or feeling DIY, with a focus on using my experience on how to maximise budgets for maximum impact.

I will also continue to offer local suppliers access to my range for hire, with the ranges looking to increase, and will be offering a select handful of days a year to style weddings.
