The hotel which was formally known as the Queens Hotel and Spa in Bournemouth was undergoing major renovations ahead of its re-launch as Mercure Bournemouth. I was invited in to take a look around and asked whether I could coordinate and style a full photoshoot for them as part of the re-brand and launch. I absolutely loved the styling in the hotel, they had done an amazing job of creating some really cool spaces, including a Kracken Bar. I could quickly see what we could create and the palette we would use. I then assembled a team of suppliers to support us and the end results were absolutely incredible. The shoot was shot during 2020 in a little interim when we were allowed to work, and it was such a joy to get back to doing what we love after so long not being able to work.
