Earthy Boho Dream
This was a shoot Jessica and I had planned in our heads for the longest time, multiple site visits looking for the perfect location, foraging expeditions, collating a new collection of glassware, soft furnishing shopping trips, pouring over every detail!
We choose Mapperton House, its grounds are extraordinary and the venue itself offers so much variety and options for couples. The converted Coach House had the perfect backdrop for the shoot and the Orangery is just the most beautiful light-filled space, that we were so excited to capture. The shoot took place in March 2020 just before the world got turned upside down, little did we know then that this would be the last time we were allowed to work the way we did that day for a very long time. The weather was not on our side, it absolutely poured most of the day, but being surrounded by the most incredible wedding suppliers meant it didn't dampen our spirits.
The Team
We were so incredibly lucky to get this team together, they exceeded our expectations at every level and so wholeheartedly got on board with the brief. When you have held images in your head for so long, it feels fantastic to see them materialised.
